Upcoming Cooking Classes
We will continue with our Thursday mini classes into November. We will demonstrate how stretch your grocery dollars and focus on a few of the weeks worth of recipes that we will give you. Each week is unique and based upon local bargains. We are the answer to “What’s for dinner!” Classes are held every Thursday from 5:30pm to 6:15pm the cost is $7.50 per class.
- We will deviate from the above format on Thursday, Oct 9th we will make fresh cow and goat milk cheeses! More economical than store bought cheese spreads and better for you. We will be using Morning Fresh milks from Big Hollow Food Coop. This class is $10.00 Change of date!!! This class will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 15th
- Due to the excitement from the community we will offer the Cheese class again on Saturday, Oct. 18th from 4:00 to 4:45. Cost is $10.00
- On Thursday, Oct. 16th we will deviate again so our mini class can focus on Gourmet Caramel Apples. We will show you how do make this fantastic autumn treat. Crisp apples covered in caramel, chocolate, nuts, more chocolate, oh my! Cost is $7.50.
Autumn Pie Class: Chef Jerry Bigelow is returning to The Copper Kettle on Sunday, Nov. 16th to instruct this class. If you have ever been frustrated by pie crusts, or just too intimidated to try to make a pie, come and learn from a master. Beyond pie crusts, Chef Jerry will make a sweet potato pie, pumpkin pie and reveal a chocolate pie that will send you a-swooning! Cost is $35.00. Class time is from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Learn techniques, receive recipes, taste the finished pies, learn how to plate the pie beautifully, connect with other people who like pie.
